Charities for 2025:

HOPE HOUSE CHILDRENS HOSPICE

Hope House Children’s Hospices is a charity that gives every local child with a life-threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis.
We support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died.

It costs £9.6 million every year to run our services. Approximately two month’s income comes from statutory sources and for the other 10 months of the year we are dependent on public support.

Our mission is to reach every child with a life-threatening condition in our area, to give them and their family access to professional care and improve their quality of life, and to raise the money we need to do this.

News:

March road run

We had a turnout of 50 vehicles to our road run who had an enjoyable day. We raised £900 which goes towards Nash and Boraston church funds.

Money donated:

We donated £400 to support Ukraine. The charity send over 4X4 vehicles, which have been converted into ambulances, and medical supplies over to the frontline in Ukraine.

July road run:

We only had 23 entries to our road run but many thanks for those coming along to support our event and our charities. It was still an enjoyable run even if the weather didn't agree. We raised a total of £340.

Working day and show 2024

Our theme for this year was Classic Cars.

Our annual Vintage working day and show had vintage working and stationary vehicles - tractors, lorries, cars, stationary engines and motor bikes.

We had a great selection of trade and crafts section, along with a licensed bar and various food vendors, including ice creams.
